At Co-op Academy Bebington we are committed to ‘Shaping Exceptional Futures’ by providing your child with the best education and support we can. As part of this commitment we are always looking for more accessible ways to keep you informed about your child’s life at school.

We are delighted to announce that we have successfully moved MIS providers to Arbor Education. Alongside a variety of new and exciting in-school features for staff, Arbor provides a Portal and App for use by parents/carers of students at Co-op Academy Bebington. Our Portal will launch Tuesday 5th March, when using the system you will be able to view the following information about your child:

• Student information - The portal will allow you to see the information we hold on your child in school, such as date of birth and lesson timetable. Within the app, you are able to keep school updated with any changes to this information. When you first login to the portal, please can all parents/ carers ensure that the information in the emergency contact section is up-to-date.
• Student behaviour - As a school we have now transitioned to using Arbor to record all positive achievements, negative behaviours and any detentions. Please note, ClassCharts is now not in use.
• Student attendance - The portal also allows you to see your child’s average attendance over the course of the academic year.
• Communication - The portal has a built-in messaging service, complete with push notifications. For example, if we need to send a short message, you will receive an in-app notification. During this time we will continue to send all communications out through parentmail also.

Please note that for the time being you need to retain Parentmail in order to top up your child's lunch account and pay for any trips, etc.

Students will also receive access to their own ‘student portals’ where they will be able to view their timetables, view their behaviour records and view assignments that they can then submit to their teachers, via Arbor. There is not a specific student app for the student portals just yet, students just need to simply use their web browser (desktop/laptop/phone) and head to the Arbor login page. We will send out an invitation email to your child during w/b 4th March.

Logging into the Arbor Portal for the first time

1. Look out for your welcome email from us (You should receive this email Tuesday 5th March). As this is your first email from the system, please ensure you check your ‘junk mail’ folder. If you don't receive any email, within 48 hours of this date, please contact the school office.
2. Click the link in your welcome email to set up your password
3. Go to the App or Google Play Store on your phone and search for ‘Arbor’
4. Click ‘install’ on Android or ‘Get’ on iPhone then open the App
5. Enter your email, select the school, then enter your password
6. Accept the Terms and Conditions and enter the birthday of your child
