A Level Results

Continued A Level Success for students at Co-op Academy Bebington

Students at Co-op Academy Bebington have gained excellent results at KS5, with a 100% pass rate
and an increase on our strong A Level scores from 2022. This follows our successful recent OFSTED
review in which both the school and the Sixth Form were rated as ‘good’, demonstrating the hard
work our students and staff have committed. These were the first formal examinations many
students ever sat due to Covid. However, despite this challenge students have performed
exceptionally well and are now successfully moving onto a number of high quality destinations
including University, apprenticeships and skilled careers

Examples of students who performed exceptionally well are Emma James who gained an A*,
Distinction* and Distinction. As a result she will now be studying Child nursing at Bangor University.
Thomas Davies achieved B, B and a Merit at BTEC. He has successfully gained a place at Edge Hill
University to study Professional Policing. Other success stories are Mia McCawley who will be
studying Primary Early Years Education with QTS at Edge Hill, Thomas Kinsley-Smith who will be
studying Business with International Business Management at John Moores and Charlie Howard who
will be studying Digital Film and TV production at LMA.

Ms Kelly (Headteacher) and Mr Johns (Director of Sixth Form) would like to thank the students for all
of their hard work this year. We would also like to thank our staff who have consistently gone above
and beyond in the teaching of our students, providing many hours of additional tuition to ensure
students were academically successful.
