Mock Interviews 2023

As part of our school’s career education programme, on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th January we delivered sessions on attending a mock interview. Before the two days, students had taken part in a careers day (Autumn term – Y11) which included preparation for attending interviews and applications. In the Spring term, some of the Y11 and Y13 Form Time/Form Tutor groups were  used to prepare the students for the 2 days.

Over the 2 days, we were able to offer appointments to 240 students and we had 40+ volunteers, who gave us their time to support our students and us as a school.

We had volunteers from a variety of employers who gave their time across the two days to support our students. Our employers were from the following organisations – City of Liverpool College; Co-op – Various departments e.g. Technology/IT, HR, Retail, Marketing, Corporate Services, Funeralcare, Academies Support; HMRC; Ex-Students/Alumni; Lowell; Astrazeneca;  The Beatles Story; NRS Health and Safety; Royal Navy; Sellafield; Wirral Council; Wirral Met; Wrexham Glyndwr University; Cheshire College South and West; DWP – JobCentre Plus; Royal Navy and Liverpool Hope University.

We are so grateful to you all for supporting us. Thank You!
