Metropolitan Cathedral and Princes Road synagogue

Today GCSE RE students went to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and Princes Road synagogue. They have learned about symbolism in both buildings, through colours in the Christ The King which represents the trinity and that a synagogue is usually designed with trees and flowers in mind, no images of humans. Students were amazed at the size of the Metropolitan cathedral, and at all the gold in the synagogue.

Our tour guides in both places commented on how polite students were. Well done everyone!
