CAREERS FAIR - SIXTH FORM OPTIONS - GCSE CHOICES 2024

On Tuesday 16th January, we hosted our annual Careers Fair, Sixth Form Open Evening and Year 9 Options Evening. Here are some photos and feedback from the event. This was a joint event, combining three engagement opportunities into one large open event with staff from every department showcasing their -

- Curriculum areas

- GCSE Options

- Post 16 courses

Despite the wintry weather, we had a broad range of providers from further and higher education; such as sixth forms, colleges and universities. We also had representation from employers and local training providers who were on hand to offer employer insights and advice about careers in their job sectors. In addition, the ASK Project - Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools, were on hand to answer questions about apprenticeships. Look out for the next edition of Career News which will focus on apprenticeships, as part of National Apprenticeship Week.  Thank you to all parents/ carers and students who braved the elements to come out and find out more about support for your child’s future.
